Receptionist/Administrator

20 hours per week (from 2pm daily) £8.50 per hour

 

Shelford Medical Practice, Cambridge CB22 5FY is a training practice which services over 9000 patients, with an ever increasing patient population.   The Practice is centrally located in Great Shelford, with excellent transport links to both Cambridge and the wider area.

 

We are currently seeking to recruit a part-time Receptionist /Administrator to join our existing Administration team, who work in support of the Practice, our clinicians and who provide an excellent service to our patients.

Applicants should have excellent interpersonal skills and ideally have some previous experience in a customer service role. Experience in a healthcare environment is advantageous. Candidates should be enthusiastic, empathetic, have flexibility in their approach and have the ability to work as part of a team. They should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be keen to develop into an exciting and varied role within the Practice.

 

Working hours are 2pm to 6pm Monday to Friday. Salary is £8.50 per hour.

Healthcare Assistant (Band 3-4)

We welcome part time or full time applications for an experienced HCA to join our team.

We are a friendly local teaching practice, providing high quality primary care to nearly 9000 patients.

You will work alongside our experienced nurses and health care assistant to provide nursing support and independent care for patients.

Full duties will include blood tests, assisting patients with long term conditions, ear care, ECGs, health promotion, wound care, seasonal immunisations and support for minor operations and procedures.

Salary will be commensurate with role and experience and further training can be arranged as needed.
